To use Piscis, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally able to enter a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited by law from using Piscis or similar services.
• Not have been removed from Piscis for a serious or repeated rule violation, unless we expressly authorize a new account.

By using Piscis, you represent that these statements are true. The service is not offered wherever its use would violate applicable law.

Joining the waitlist lets you create an account and prepare a profile before Piscis is available in your city or on your device. A waitlist position, completed profile, or launch message does not guarantee access on a particular date, in a particular place, or with a particular feature set.

Your waitlist profile remains hidden from other members until you activate the launched app. When you first sign in to the available app, the profile and preferences you saved can be used to activate your account and provide the service.

Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You may maintain only the number of accounts we permit. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device and authentication methods secure.

Do not share verification codes, transfer an account, impersonate another person, or create an account for someone else without authorization. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Profile verification is one safety signal. It is not a guarantee of identity, background, intentions, or conduct.

You may not use Piscis to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, discriminate against, or harm another person.
• Share non-consensual intimate content, sexual content involving minors, or content that facilitates abuse or exploitation.
• Deceive, impersonate, defraud, solicit money, promote commercial services, or manipulate another person.
• Post unlawful, infringing, hateful, violent, or malicious content.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or use member data outside the service, including to build datasets, train models, identify people, or conduct surveillance.
• Probe security, bypass access controls or feature limits, introduce malware, interfere with operation, or access the service through unauthorized automation.
• Reverse engineer or copy the service except where the law gives a non-waivable right to do so.
• Use Piscis in a way that violates law, another person's rights, or these Terms.

We may investigate suspected violations and use automated or human review to enforce these rules. Use in-app reporting tools or contact us when you encounter conduct that may put someone at risk.

You keep ownership of photos, prompts, messages, voice messages, profile details, reports, and other content you submit. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it and for ensuring it complies with these Terms.

You grant Piscis a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit, and otherwise process your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service. This includes showing profile content to other members according to your settings and delivering content to intended recipients.

This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for copies another member lawfully retained, normal backup cycles, and limited material retained for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legal claims as described in the Privacy Policy.

Feedback and product suggestions may be used without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.

Piscis helps members discover one another and plan dates. We are not a party to interactions, communications, or arrangements between members, and we do not control a member's conduct. Use judgment, protect personal information, meet in an appropriate public place, and contact local emergency services when immediate help is needed.

Venue details, maps, hours, availability, accessibility, prices, and other place information can come from third parties and may be incomplete or out of date. Verify important details directly with the venue. A suggestion or ranking is not an endorsement or guarantee.

Some features may require payment. The price, billing period, renewal terms, included features, and any trial terms will be shown before purchase. Where a subscription renews automatically, it continues until canceled through the purchase provider in accordance with the terms shown at checkout.

Purchases processed by Apple, Google, or another provider are also governed by that provider's payment terms. Except where law requires otherwise, refunds and cancellation are handled through the provider that processed the purchase. Deleting a Piscis account does not by itself cancel a store subscription.

We may change future pricing or features. We will provide notice of changes to an active subscription as required by applicable law and store rules.

Piscis, its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other service materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose.

No other rights are granted. Do not use our names, logos, or materials in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

Piscis relies on or links to services provided by others, including maps, place information, app stores, and communications. Their terms and privacy notices can apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party sites, content, products, or services that we do not control.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Privacy notices and consent requests serve their own legal purposes and do not turn every use of personal information into a contractual consent.

You can pause or delete your account using available settings. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, used the service fraudulently, or when suspension is required by law.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. We may act immediately when necessary to protect people, preserve an investigation, or prevent harm.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive, including ownership, retained-content licenses, disclaimers, limits of liability, disputes, and amounts owed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Piscis is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, that information will always be accurate, that you will receive matches or dates, or that members will behave safely or as represented. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Piscis and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity; or conduct of other members or third parties arising from the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Piscis will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Piscis during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including any non-waivable consumer rights. They allocate risk between the parties and apply even if a remedy fails its essential purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Piscis and its affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your material violation of these Terms. This does not require you to indemnify a party for its own unlawful conduct.

These Terms are governed by Governing law to be confirmed before launch, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes will be brought in Dispute forum to be confirmed before launch.

Before filing a formal claim, contact us and describe the issue so both sides can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent relief where necessary to prevent immediate harm or misuse of intellectual property.

These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement about the service. If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest will remain in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without our written consent. We may assign it in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of the service, subject to applicable law.

We may update these Terms as Piscis or the law changes. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. If a change is material, we will provide advance notice where required. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to an update, stop using Piscis and delete your account.
